iPhone 4 from Apple

I purchased a new, white Iphone 4 yesterday from Best Buy. When I opened the App store, there was already an email/Apple ID associated with it on my phone. How is this possible? Does it mean that the phone had already been used? Has this happened to anyone else?

that means this iPhone 4 has already been used by somebody else, then he restored and re-packaged, and sold it as a new one. these happens a lot on online-shopping.
