What is the best iphone 4 waterproof case?
I currently have a regular iphone 4 (not the S) and I work around a lot of water. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good waterproof iphone 4 case that still allows good use of the phone itself.
I have the Lifeproof ultra-slim waterproof iphone 4 case. I got it about 7 months ago and it is a very good case. I haven’t dropped it in water or actually tried to submerge it, but I can tell you that it has done a good job when I have used it in the rain. There has been no leaking at all, and it also does a good job keeping dirt and other debris from getting on the iPhone too.
Like you, I wanted a good protector, but I also wanted top be able to actually use the iPhone without much trouble. The ultra-slim design of the Lifeproof case allows me to use all of my iPhone features without any trouble at all. Actually, my wife’s Otterbox is clunkier to use than mine. If you want a good waterproof protector that lets you use your iPhone normally, then I recommend the Lifeproof. It’s a great case for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

NOTE:
- As already mentioned, this jailbreak does not work on the iPad 2 or iPhone 4S.
- If you unlock with GEVEY or Ultrasn0w, DO NOT update to the stock iOS 5.1 firmware. Skip to the latter part of this guide for more info.
- You will be booting tethered quite a bit, so if you don’t think you can deal with constantly connecting and rebooting, wait for an untethered or downgrade to iOS 5.0.1/4.x.

Note To Unlockers:
- If you use the GEVEY SIM interposer or Ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone, you will need to create a custom .iPSW, in order to preserve your baseband.
- In Redsn0w, select “Extras”, then “Custom IPSW”, locate your iOS 5.1 file, and let Redsn0w work its magic.
- Then enter pwned DFU mode (Extras – Pwned DFU) and restore to your custom firmware via iTunes. After that, you’ll be able to unlock with GEVEY or Ultrasn0w (when it is available).

Dev-Team Notes:
- Soon after 5.1 appears on Apple’s public servers (i.e. iTunes starts to offer it), Apple will stop signing 5.0.1 SHSH blobs.
If you have an iPhone4S, the basic rule above is really the only rule: you cannot restore back to 5.0.1 once the 5.0.1 signing window is closed, no matter what (even if you saved your SHSH blobs).
- If you have an iPad2 with saved 4.x hashes, you can in fact downgrade to that 4.x but you won’t be able to get to 5.0.1 once the 5.0.1 signing window is closed (even if you saved your 5.0.1 SHSH blobs).
- If you have a device earlier than the iPad2, you can downgrade to whatever version you want, as long as you have saved SHSH blobs for that version. You’ll need the assistance of geohot’s limera1n exploit with tools like redsn0w to get into “pwned DFU mode” and bypass the downgrade restriction.

How do I connect videos with my Iphone 4 to make them all one?
I want to take vacation videos with my iphone 4 and somehow make them all play in a row instead of 2-4 minute chunks. This way I could upload a large collage onto youtube without having to have each one broken down.
Can this be done on the iphone, or with an app?
It seems that this work can not be done on iphone. But you can use a iPhone video editor on computer to merge all your videos into one file. There’s a iPhone video converter which can meet your requirement. Not only join several video files into one, but also crop, trim video.
