The New iPhone 4
How can i get my iphone internet to work after updating to iphone 4?
I have a Iphone 3G and I’ve had it since around when it first came out.About 3 days ago i updated to Iphone 4 and now the internet wont work apart from WI-FI.I always have full network and the 3G sign so i have full internet connection but every time I try and connect it says you are not subscribed to a cellular data service, the internet has been working perfectly before the update.PLEASE HELP!
A few things to try.
1. Reset the network settings
2. Restore the phone
3. Pop the sim card out and put it back in
4. Call at&t TECH support, do NOT let them transfer you to apple until they completely re-provision your account.

That is an issue you need to talk to your cell phone service provider about.

Sometimes when you change phones you must call AT&T and have them change the IMEI number on your data Plan. When i went from Iphone 1st gen to 3g that was problem. Hope This Helps!

You need to call your service providers and tell them whats happening. Tell them the msg that keeps popping up and they will sort it out. Although it might include restoring your iPhone which is a pain cause everything gets deleted.
Overall, its a really easy problem to solve.

There are a few things you can try to solve this problem:
1. Check that 3G and Cellular Data are enabled. On the iPhone go to General –> Network –> and check that the sliders for both Enable 3G and Cellular Data are turned ON.
2. Reset the network settings. On the iPhone go to General –> Reset –> Reset Network Settings.
3. Take the sim card out and put it back in.
4. Call your service providers technical support.
Hope this helps

It should be something to do with your celular network not apple iPhone. I assume that its upgrading to iPhone 4, not updating. It should be hardware upgrading.
1: You can try to take out the sim card try on other 3G phone, it if can connect then its not because of your celular line.
2: If not, your iPhone 4 may have some configuration problem, call your service provider to help, followed by apple if the problem is not solved.
Good luck in getting your iPhone works.
